Does anybody know if the RBMetal2SHPn is a better choice as an AP over the RB912UAG-2HPnD? I need to replace some aging RouterBoards and am looking for the best value in an AP. We have used the RB411AH and RB433 with the Ubiquiti XR series of cards in the past with good results. Some of these AP's will have <20 users and some will have between 40 and 50. I kind of like the idea of the higher power cards, that way you can turn them down some and maybe not run them at full throttle all the time. Might make them last longer. I know this is the case in my amateur radio hobby. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these new units or any thoughts on what makes the best AP.

The easiest is the groove, just an antenna mount and ready.
The groove has 400 Mhz CPU output 1300 milliwatts.
The RB912UAG-2HPnD does have more features and you should in case mount.
This one has a 600 Mhz CPU power output 1000 milliwatts.
Personally I love the groove as accesspoint easier.
But RB912UAG-2HPnD has gigabit lan usb port and you can add extra radio card.

Do note that the RB912 is a dual chain device and Metal/Groove only has one WiFi chain... With a large amount of users the benefit of two chains is evident...
