I have looked all over and tried lots of configs and im feeling quite stuped as im not getting anywhere.
I have a Router board 110AHX2 and want to connect to internet

Connecting adsl modem ip 192.168.1.1 to router port 11

internet access on ports 6 to 10

any help appreciated

Really, we need more information. I'm assuming you want to use the 1100 as the main router and not just as a switch. In which case you have an issue where your DSL modem is probably acting as a router since it appears to have the default IP scheme. So from here you have 2 options, you can either reconfigure your modem to be a bridge, then set up a PPPoE client on the 1100, or if you just want quick and dirty internet, just set up the WAN on your 1100 to be DHCP and double NAT (not ideal, but it should work as long as you don't need port forwarding).

If you're doing quick and dirty, you have another couple options:

1) the router should have a default config, this should work fine, and I believe on the 1100, port 1 is a DHCP wan, and the rest are lan, just plug your modem into 1 and 2-10 should work.
2) if you use winbox or the web configuration, there is a quickset menu which should walk you through it.

If you want it done properly, it's a bit more than I can type out in a forum post and it'll be a bit of work if you're unfamiliar with similar devices.

The 1100AHX2 does not have a quickset menu

I can set my adsl router into bridge.

I tried default config but can not connect to the internet on lan ports.

1) DLink ADSL router
2) 1100AHX2 Routerboard
3) Want to connect 3 X Ubiquiti Rocket M5 to eth 8,9and 10
4) DLink ADSL router connected to eth1
5) Local access on eth 2 to 5

You're most likely on an old firmware then, I don't know of a good reason not to update.

If it's in bridge, you'll need to add a PPPoE client (again, assuming your DSL is like every DSL in my area and uses PPPoE), you can do this from the interfaces menu. Add a pppoe client and then select the port you want to use when creating it, type in your login info for the DSL line. Just check off "add default route" to make things easy.

If your lan ports are set up correctly, that should be enough.

EDIT: correction, you'll also need to add a masquerade in the NAT rules. Add a NAT rule that's on the src-nat chain, out interface is your pppoe client, and action is masquerade

Can connect with PPPoE and is connected.
I still can not get internet access on ports looks like only allowing traffic one way only orange light on ports flashing

Please give example of setting up eth ports
