but not working modem MC7700. I've upgraded the modem firmware to the latest version available (3.5.20.5).

The version of the firmware that have been tested for MC7710/MC7700 is the 3.5.23.2, but the manufacturer (Sierra Wireless) has no available this version for the MC7700 model. This version is only available for the MC7710.

Anyone have any idea of because this happens?
Thanks.

The MC7700 if it is recognized but only you can see an available port (port 0). This port does not allow me to run any command AT.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Check if you have LTE interface. If yes it means that MC7710 is working in DirectIP mode (to get full LTE speed). Set APN at LTE interface and add DHCP client for it.
If you want access it via serial you can disable DirectIp (/port firmware set ignore-directip-modem=yes), but then you have to use much slower PPP mode.

That worked, thanks...

...but my intention is to be able to use the GPS of the modem.
I had to make one step further to what you said to me, activate the port mini-pcie (/system routerboard usb set type=mini-PCIe usb-mode=force-host)

Now I have 5 channels in the modem:
Data channel "4"
Info channel "3"

I'm going to try to do it and I put the results.
Thanks.

I saw another post that talks about the GPS. I'm going to continue there.
