I just purchased a RB532A with a RB 564 Daughterboard.

I installed 2.9.25 an when i issue the following command in terminal window:

/interface ethernet print

i get:

Flags: X - disabled, R - running
# NAME MTU MAC-ADDRESS ARP
0 R ether1 1500 00:0C:42:04:AF:59 enabled
1 R ether2 1500 00:0C:42:04:AF:5A enabled
2 R ether3 1500 00:0C:42:04:AF:5B enabled

Where is the other 6 ports?

When i plug a UTP cable in to the upper 6 slots the corresponding led is blinking...

Also I tried to unplug the daughterboard and plug it again.. it seems firmly plugged.

From the BOOTRom menu i get

Board Info:

Board type: 532A
Serial number: 0B8301D9F7EE
Firmware version: 1.13
CPU frequency: 264 MHz
Memory size: 64 MB
Korina MAC address: 00:0C:42:04:AF:59
VIA1 MAC address: 00:0C:42:04:AF:5A
VIA2 MAC address: 00:0C:42:04:AF:5B
VIA3 MAC address: 00:0C:42:03:64:39
VIA4 MAC address: 00:0C:42:03:64:3A
VIA5 MAC address: 00:0C:42:03:64:3B
VIA6 MAC address: 00:0C:42:03:64:3C
VIA7 MAC address: 00:0C:42:03:64:3D
VIA8 MAC address: 00:0C:42:03:64:3E

But i only see 3 ethernets in mikrotik RouterOS.

I also tried with 48v / 0,4A power supply as i am currently using an 18v / 0,8A.

Where is the problem?

Hello,

I recently bought used RB532r5 and got the same issue as in this post. I will give more details as soon as I got home, but I want to know is it possible to fix it now since RB532 is EOL.

Best Regards
