PPPoE RADIUS Userman

Hi,

I want to setup all client connections as PPPoE, all IP based now. I'm configuring 1 client at the moment to get everything working before implementing to all the others.
I've got it connected via PPPoE but for some reason it doesn't want to authenticate through Userman.
I added a new radius server with ppp service address 127.0.0.1 and a password, I added a router in Userman with the same IP and password.
Under PPP i added a new PPPoE server and assigned the profile created under Profiles. Selected Use Radius under PPP Authentication & Accounting. Created a user in Userman.
That should work, but log shows user authentication failed. It's not seeing the RADIUS because creating a user under PPP secrets works, the user logs in.

I'd also like to be able to login to client equipment from my pc which is connected via ether to the RB. I'm unable to ping the client I have connected.

Some guidance please?

Make sure you don't have a blanket masquerade rule on your firewall. I have had that mess up my Userman Authentication when using hotspots.

Mmm yeah I have that, I should then create a masquerade for each IP range?

The problem of me not being able to connect to client equipment is because of mark routing, I have another topic open on that.
