Can I use RB951G-2HnD like ftp server with USB storage?
I start the ftp server, I connect to the server, but I see only internal memory. Can I access connected USB storage?

format disk under
system > disk

login using filezila and copy content in disk1 folder

Technically you can. But the speed and configuration options are very limited. It is intended for management purposes and not as ftpserver. So don't complain, I have warned you.

A good advice
Buy a nas and use it as an ftp server.
The performance will be much better.
Mikrotik devices are not suitable for this.
Mikrotik are routers and switches not ftp-servers

It is working... may be not so good. When I wrote the post I started for the test. There was problem with NTFS format (or FAT32 I don't remember), but after some updates it is OK. Months ago I started the server continuously with USB flash drive. But in not fixed period the USB storage unmounts alone ( see this: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=84744 )

I have just started my ftp working so will see if there is something wrong or not. however I have hanged usb2 name into USB after formatting.
I have to chceck to logg in from external IP.
