Hi, I have VRRP setup with 2 MT servers and everything is working great. I have about 6 WinXP workstations all using the virtual gateway IP for both their Gateway & DNS server and they work fine.

However I have 2 windows 2003 servers that when I point them to the virtual IP for their Gateway & DNS addresses they do not work. If I set the gateway address & DNS address to each MT machine in the VRRP group then they can resolve DNS. Also if I set the 2003 servers to the virtual IP for gateway & DNS I can still get internet access by using IPs of websites but DNS will not work.

Any ideas?

I've seen some weird issues with VRRP, not a w2k3 issue yet. I actually have a win2k3 box at home behind a vrrp router and it works fine. Make sure to dump your arp table (or restart the computer) after you change the gateway.
