I have a mikrotik rb433 that was working fine for years but lately every time there is a power outage some of the interfaces will be disabled and I will need to restore backup.

We currently has a electricity shortage in our country and the power get disconnected 4 times a week.
Anyone had this sort of problem before?

4times a week? You need a ups then. In case it doesn't enable interfaces, create a boot time script that enables them.

Power went offline again today for 2 hours. The script that i configured did not work, might be because it looses every setting i made after the power get cut..
There is three wireless interfaces. Two of them will be disabled and reset to default after power restore.
IT only happens after power loss, not when i reboot the device
The strange thing is that it is almost like if it resets back to an earlier backup.

Maybe it is time to replace that board. :(

Or just reset, netinstall and make new config.

Good day.
The problem went away when I connected the rb433 to ups.
It’s actually very strange but here is what I think it could be.
When the poe is directly connected to the electricity the amps or voltage is incorrect and the poe cant seems to provide the rb433 with the power needed to function correctly. The rb433 then disables the wireless interfaces so that it still has enough power for itself.
I noticed that the rb433 will only do this when we had power outage for 1 hour or more, but not if i disconnect the power myself.
We have very bad electricity problem in South Africa now and it seems to be getting worse.
