Two Atheros PCMCIA cards problem

Tue Sep 21, 2004 12:39 am

Hi,

I´m trying to set up an AP using MT but i´m having a strange problem. I´ve configured two interfaces using 2 Atheros 5212 PCMCIA and 2 Ricoh PCMCIA Cardbus and when 1 card has 2 Mb/s traffic the other one stops.

I tested again with MT Bandwidth Test in both at the same time and the traffic stops in one of them.

I think it could be a problem in PCMCIA service but i couldn´t solve it.

Please help me!

Best Regards,

Armando

Make sure that your channels are not overlapping. You could have interference taking out the other link.

Hi,

I´d already check that and it happens if any channel. And the noise didn´t raise.

I think the problem is related with the PCMCIA service that is not supporting the traffic in both adapters. I´ve change the motherboard and it still happening.

I´ll try to use other adapter (Vadem) to see if it works.

Thank you.

Make sure that you have 'real' antennas connected and they are a meter or more apart.
