Laptop can not connect to Metal AP but iOS devices can

I have a 5GHz Metal AP with the latest Router OS(6.24) on it, I have it set up as a pretty basic router, bridged lan to wlan and a DHCP server running on the bridged network. I have the band on the wireless interface set to 802.11A/N and the channel is 5785 and the width is 20/40 HT Below.

My iPhone and iPads connect no problem but none of the laptops at my workplace were able to connect wirelessly, it wouldn't even show up as a network on some and when it did connecting would result in a timeout. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? I can provide additional settings if they would be more revealing. I set it up following the initial configuration guide in the manual.

Thanks

Check if your laptops have 5 Ghz wifi.

Your laptops do not support 5GHz wifi. Most probably. At least those who don't show the ssid. Some notebooks do not use some channels, try to use other channel that would be compatible with your notebooks.

All the laptops tried support 5GHz. 5785 is a channel I've used before, but will try another one. I've set up several systems using similar setting without a hitch and I'm confused as to why I'm having a problem now. I'm positive it's something simple I missed this time around.
