Hi everybody,

Sorry my message but I'm new with mikrotik. I use the RB450g routerboad.

My atual configuration has a lot of problems and I don't know why (it's not me that made initial config). Because of this, I need to format and start all again.

Someone can help me?

This is my scenario:

- I have two links (DHCP and Static IP). The first link is the preferential and the second link only take on if the first is down. The huge problem is that I have remote access to cameras and equipments using the second link (static ip). I don't need to make load balance, only redundancy.

I hope someone helps me.

Hi Elie,

Thanks for your support.

I have 3 ethernet ports (1º local network, 2º DHCP, 3º static ip)
My network will use 192.168.3.1.

I need to use the second port (DHCP) to all internet traffic.
The third port (static IP) will only be used if the second port is down (doesn't work).
I don't use load balance because the static ip link is only for backup.

BUT I have remote access using the third port (static IP) to use cameras, vpn (mikrotik will be vpn server) and other devices.
I already try to do some like this but I receive errors during this configuration.

Thanks
Ronaldo
