Dears Sirs, I want to Know if we can connect a MSA1040 that have 4x10G SFP+ SFP+ 3m DAC Cable with two Mikrotik CRS226-24G-2S+.

The 2 S+ Ports in the CRS226-24G-2S+RM are compatible with HP X242 10G SFP+ 3m DAC Cable http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/4024413. Can we found some problem if we connect this SFP+ inside S+ port of mikrotik? Did you test before these compatibility?


HP says that it is very necessary to have a good throughtput and very little latency. In CRS226 when works as a switch I understand that the max throughput available in the port when acts as a switch is 20Gbps. Which woulf be the latency in S+ with 10G conection ?
