I wrote a topic on monday about a big project I'm on but since it is getting a bit complicated to get all working together I decided to make 3 smaller topic about my main issue.

How am I supposed to tell the router that eg. port 5 is a Wan port ? The first port is already configured as a WAN port but then I tried to convert port 5 to a WAN type. Not sure what I did.

A static IP will be allowed to that second WAN, I tried to create a new IP Address then assign it on the proper interface but is that the right way to proceed ?

As my knowledge only one WAN port only available, that is Eth1/ PoE. In my case a 450g, i configure it as a bridge or gateway.

Well since eth2-5 are on switch1 and eth1 isn't listed on that switch it is possible that there is officially one WAN port but there is a way to do so, people do configure load balancing on Mikrotik.

Every port on a MT router can be set up as a separate interface with routable traffic, DHCP, etc.

The big thing is to just make sure they aren't slaves to another interface. If you go into the interface list and click on eth2-eth5, if master-port is set, it's part of a switch group. If you change master-port to none, it becomes its own independent interface and can be set up as secondary WAN or used for other purposes.
