Internet Bandwidth lost behind CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD

Sun Apr 26, 2015 9:52 am

Hello,

i use a core-router CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD behind my cable-internet-router

Yesterday my internet-access was changed from 150/5 Mbps up to 200/20 Mbps and i get also a new internet-router, it´s a new AVM FritzBox 6490cable, bevor it was also a AVM FritzBox 6360cable.

The internet-access is working fine, when i check the bandwith behind the FritzBox on LAN-Port 1 i have 200 Mbps downlink and 20 Mbps uplink.
When i check the some behind my CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD on different LAN-Ports, i have max. 25 Mbps Downlink :(
The CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD is connected via port-1 to port-1 on the FritzBox, both with 1 GBps full-duplex.

The configuration on FritzBox is now the some such on the old one and also on the Mikrotik was nothing changed.
Bevore i change it yesterday i lost max. 5% behind the CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD.

Have anybody a idea, where i lost my bandwidth behind the Mikrotik or what can i check of change in the configuration

Firmware is 6.28

Thanks in advance.

Hi Thomas,
1st of all CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD is a switch and not a router :-)
Beside this it looks like a 100% cpu utilization issue, how are the port configured? Are they bridged or are you using the master port (aka the switch chip)?
Also posting an /export hide-sensitive can help me with further debug.

Hello,

CPU < 10% over the day

The official name for the modell is: Cloud Router Switch :)

I fixed the problem by my self yesterday evening, reset the config and use the Mirkotik as normal switch now without any firewall, wlan or other features.

wlan, vpn and firewall is running on the FritzBox

But before i change the Cable-router it was working normal, 150 Mbps downlink behind the Mikrotik, i change the old FritzBox to the new one, use the same setting for IP-Adresses, some cable, aso. and also nothign was changed on the Mikrotik self.
