Good day. I have two office on 6th and 7th stages in one building and need to bridge networks between them. There is no way to cable connection. I want to bridge them using WiFi and SXT Lite-2 on one side and RB951 on another.

Is it a good idea to use SXT indoors? What about directional antenna? Will it work indoors? Thanks

hi.
please remember wireless is "two-way communication"
RB951 made for home use it low tx-power

you can use SXT-Lite2 for indoor but i'm not sure match between SXT + RB951 :D

[SXT]))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))*
---------------------------*(((((((([RB951]))))))))

SXT=directional antenna
RB951=omni antenna

SXT can talk to RB951
but
RB951 can't talk to SXT because
1.low TX-Power
2.no directional antenna

I wouldn't use 2.4GHz for a PTP, specially indoors where the 2.4Ghz spectrum should be rather crowded, but 5GHz.

I'd try with a couple SXT5 Lite in PTP (tame down power as needed), with a 951Ui-2HnD to provide 2.4Ghz wireless coverage, that way you can even power the SXT from port 5 on it; is also one of the best 2.4GHz APs in terms of radio.

completely agree... that's the first option provided it works.

Maybe I can use two SXT to establish connection between offices? Will some concrete walls be a problem?
