Permanently connected WinBox makes 7GB/day traffic

Hello,
I noticed some strange behavior of WinBox. I am connecting to MT RB951G-2HnD and from time to time I forgot to close or exit it, so I am connected all day & all night (sometimes even a couple of days). Sometimes I have 1.2GB/day traffic on port 8291/TCP (WinBox), which is huge, but whatever and sometimes I have 7.4GB/day traffic, which seems to me there is something wrong. Over 7GB traffic for one little app only ? Is it normal behavior ? Is it dependance on what is on the WinBox screen or not ?
I am confused about that. Help will be appreciated.
