This is one of the most awesome programs I have seen. Makes most of the others look bad.

I wonder is someone has created a "SQL Server" image for the maps.?

Thanks

Can you explain in more detail what tables and other stuff would you like to see in such SQL database.

Not looking for a table, want a image for the WORLD map, that has "SQL Server" like the MAIL Server, and the FTP server..

Maybe I am over complicating this.

Thanks

It would be great if you could do some different MikroTik device icons. I.e an Icon that is a MikroTik Router, another that signifies a MikroTik Access Point bridge device, and another that signifies a MikroTik Backhaul device etc et al.

I have built out maps on sites that have 10 or 15 MikroTik device on a tower for example, and it gets a bit confusing since they all have the same icon but have different functions.

I would also suggest, if possible, different icons for different Wireless manufacturers devices - i.e Canopy, Smartbridges, Tranzeo, Trango etc etc.

Thanks!

Hi,

it would be nice if you could add own icons by yourself. So it would be possible to customize the map if you want to.

EDIT
OK. It seems like it is already possible to add own SVG icons.

How about a Linux and a Mac PC and Labtop Icon? And maybe even more wireless MT equipment icons?

Hint: We still are some users that are relequently setting up a Windoze box just to run the Dude - But the Dude is worth the bad M$ tast because it itself is SO beautiful :D

Blackberry
SQL
Firewalls
UPS
Tape or Network storage device
May be a couple different Misc Icons for stuff like Time card or POS Terms
Clouds and Backbone providers like MCI UUNET Sprint... Bla Bla
different sets for INtra and EXtranet, and DMZs

What the heck go ahead and make ones for Vending Machines because this software is so insane if I had a way to track the pop machines in the building with The Dude I would.

Does any one make there own .svg I cons and if you do give it a shout

Do you make all you own Icons or do you use pefab ones as templates if so what is the Icon set

Anything I can do to help with the effort PLEASE Let me know.

ok, here you go - three new icons, that hopefully will appear in the next dude. one for a database server, one for an apple imac, and third is a rack system which doubles as a vending machine :)

Anybody know of a nice little program to create/edit svg images?

Inkscape. If you can make icons in the same style as the current ones, maybe we can include your custom icons in the next releases. Submit them for a contest :)

Hi, hope this is my last idea ;-)

A icon for a firewall would also be great. Maybe a bricked wall with some flames before.

Thanks, the dude is a great tool!

Unfortunatly when I use it, it only shows up as a black screen. I see the Penguin when I am in the Icon selection but when I see the map of my network the Penguin does not show.

Option for SQL Icon.

You should be able to save and import this on your own.
