PPPoE disconnect clients when I make a mikrotik badwith test.

Thu Aug 13, 2015 11:22 am

I have a network of 300 users pppoe divided into 2 areas. The first one is connected to the PPPoE server by ethernet cable and here no problem. The second is interconnected with AIFIBER 5 with a theoretical transfer rate of 300Mbs in both directions. The problem is that when I make a Btest from a Mikortik located in Zone 2 PPPoE connections in this area begin to disconnect.

Anyone have any idea what might be going .

Most likely you are maxing out the CPU to 100% when you are running the btest, as a result of this the PPPoE Connections are getting dropped...
